Afghanistan completes 15 development projects in Nuristan

NURISTAN, Afghanistan --The Afghan Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development recently completed 15 development projects in Nuristan Province, the ministry announced July 12, according to the Afghanistan Times.

The projects, costing 13m AFN (US $189,371), took shape in Mandog, Doab and Nurgaram districts under the National Solidarity Programme, the statement said.

They include construction of a 7.3km-long pathway and an almost 1.6km-long road.

About 2,852 families will benefit from the projects, according to the ministry.
