FARYAB -- A militant rocket recently hit a wedding ceremony in Khwaja Sabz Posh District, Faryab Province, killing 12 civilians, security forces said November 3, according to TOLO News.
The wedding was taking place in Kosa Qala village, security officials said.
The dead included six women and five children, while the bride was injured, officials added.
The shell landed after four days of fighting between troops and the Taliban in the area.
