7 Afghan Taliban, 5 policemen killed

KABUL -- Seven Taliban commanders and five policemen were killed recently in Helmand and Paktia provinces, media reported.

An air strike in Garmsir District, Helmand Province, killed the Taliban commanders, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said November 8, according to Khaama Press.

Meanwhile, a November 7 roadside bombing in Ahmad Khel District, Paktia Province, killed at least five police officers, provincial police chief Brig. Gen. Qader Gul Zadran told Pajhwok Afghan News November 8.
