Death toll of Kabul suicide blast reaches 32; ISIL claims responsibility

KABUL -- The death toll of a November 21 suicide bombing in Kabul grew to 32 as the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) claimed responsibility, Khaama Press reported.

A suicide bomber blew himself up during a Shia gathering at a mosque.

Meanwhile, Farid Bakhtawar, a member of the Farah provincial council, November 21 survived a militant attack in Bala Balok District, Pajhwok Afghan News reported November 22. Three of his guards were injured.

Militants ambushed Bakhtawar's group when it was travelling to Herat Province, he said.
