FARAH, Afghanistan -- Ten Taliban were killed in Farah Province, either during infighting or by their own explosives, officials said.
Fighting broke out between rival factions after a land mine exploded in Bakwa District early Sunday (January 8) and killed six militants, provincial police spokesman Iqbal Bahir told Pajhwok Afghan News.
In the ensuing combat, at least four more militants were killed, district administrative chief Ghawsuddin confirmed, Khaama Press reported Sunday (January 8).
