ZABUL, Afghanistan -- The Taliban Tuesday (January 10) killed seven policemen in an ambush, the Afghanistan Times reported Wednesday (January 11).
Militants attacked an outpost in Arghandab District, a local official said.
One militant was killed.
Meanwhile, Afghan Counter Narcotics Police (CNP) have arrested 10 suspected drug pushers in the past three months in multiple provinces, officials said, according to a separate Afghanistan Times report.
The drugs seized include 73kg of heroin and 153kg of opium, the CNP said.
