FARYAB, Afghanistan -- A Taliban militant who surrendered 15 days ago killed at least eight policemen belonging to a single family in Almar District, Faryab Province, TOLO News reported Friday (February 3), quoting district governor Muhammad Saleh Saleh.
The former Taliban member poisoned and then fatally shot a father, his two sons, his two sons-in-law and his three nephews, Saleh said.
The accused killer's motive and present whereabouts were not reported.
