KABUL -- Afghan security agencies arrested two suspected militants, breaking up their plot to attack a member of parliament (MP), the National Directorate of Security (NDS) said Tuesday (March 7), according to Afghanistan Times.
The suspects had orders to attack a member of the lower chamber in Kabul, said the NDS, without identifying the MP in question.
Meanwhile, one Afghan was killed by a magnetic bomb in Kabul Tuesday, reported Khaama Press.
The bomb was attached to a civilian vehicle, according to witnesses.
