KABUL -- Afghan Counter Narcotics Police have arrested 16 suspected drug traffickers, including a woman and an Iranian, Afghanistan Times reported.
The police seized various substances, including about 274kg of heroin and about 64kg of opium, in various crackdowns, the Criminal Justice Task Force said in a statement Wednesday (May 3).
The suspects all are awaiting trial, added the statement.
