KABUL -- Afghan troops killed 71 militants in a 24-hour span in multiple provinces, said the Ministry of Defence, Afghanistan Times reported Tuesday (May 9).
The troops destroyed a Taliban command and control centre in Nad-e-Ali District, Helmand Province, said the army Tuesday.
Troops regained control of the Hazara Kala area, said Helmand governor's spokesman Omar Zwak.
