KABUL -- At least 130 militants were killed in recent combat in four provinces, media reported.
Artillery shelling killed 48 Taliban members in Ghazni Province and five in Kunduz Province, said the Ministry of Defence (MoD), Khaama Press reported Sunday (May 21).
Air strikes killed 53 more Taliban militants on the outskirts of Tirin Kot, Uruzgan Province, reported the MoD separately, Khaama Press reported Sunday.
Troops killed 24 members of the Taliban and "Islamic State of Iraq and the Syria" (ISIS) in three Nangarhar Province districts, Khaama Press and Afghanistan Times reported Sunday and Monday (May 22).
