KABUL -- Troops fighting in Helmand and Kunduz provinces killed at least 10 Taliban militants and cleared 10 villages of insurgents, reported media.
Troops killed the Taliban members in Nad-e-Ali and Gereshk districts, Helmand Province, Monday (May 29), according to the provincial government, Khaama Press reported.
Other security forces drove insurgents out of 10 villages in Kunduz Province, officials said Tuesday (May 30), according to Afghanistan Times.
