Rocket hits Indian envoy's house; police foil Kabul shelling plot

KABUL -- A rocket fired from an unknown location landed on the tennis court outside the Indian ambassador's house in Kabul Tuesday (June 6), TOLO News reported. No casualties were reported.

Security forces Monday (June 5) seized 20 rockets in Kohi Safi District, Parwan Province, Pajhwok Afghan News reported.

The rockets were set aside for a shelling of Kabul, said Maj. Alozai Ahmadi, commander of the security forces' joint base in Parwan, adding that militants were trying to disrupt the Kabul Process conference on Afghan security, which began Tuesday.
