NANGARHAR -- Two explosions in Nangarhar Province killed eight militants, media reported Sunday (June 11).
Four militants planting a roadside bomb in Hesarak District were killed when it exploded prematurely Saturday (June 10), while four Taliban were killed when their pick-up truck hit another roadside bomb in Sherzad District, said the Afghan National Army in statements Saturday and Sunday, according to TOLO News and Khaama Press.
Troops killed three Taliban in a battle in Khogyani District, Khaama Press reported Saturday.
