HASKA MINA, Nangarhar -- Troops conducting clearance operations in Haska Mina District, Nangarhar Province, killed at least 25 "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) militants, Khaama Press reported Monday (July 24), quoting the provincial government press office.
An unspecified number of civilian casualties occurred because ISIS used the civilians as human shields, confirmed a team of government investigators.
