KABUL -- Troops killed nine Taliban insurgents in combat in Chahar Dara District, Kunduz Province, Pajhwok Afghan News reported Tuesday (September 12).
The operations took place late Monday (September 11), said Afghan National Army Brig. Gen. Sayed Qurban Musawi.
The dead militants included two foreigners, he added. The troops captured five militants.
