KABUL -- Security forces killed 61 militants in 12 provinces in a 24-hour span, said the Ministry of Defence (MoD), Afghanistan Times reported Thursday (September 14).
Troops conducted 14 special-forces operations and 99 air strikes in the 24 hours, said the MoD.
