KABUL -- The fourth round of an Afghan national polio vaccination campaign began nationwide Monday (September 25), reported Afghanistan Times.
The five-day-long drive is meant to vaccinate 9.9 million children under age five, said the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).
The drive includes giving de-worming tablets to 5.9 million children aged two to five.
In Kabul, Afghan cricket players gave polio vaccine drops to children during a tournament, said the MoPH.
Afghanistan has recorded six polio cases so far in 2017.
