Air strike wipes out ISIS hideout in Nangarhar

NANGARHAR -- A coalition air strike Wednesday (October 25) hit an "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) hideout in Nangarhar Province, killing 14 group members, Khaama Press reported Thursday (October 26).

The air strike took place in the Wazir area of Khogyani District, where hundreds of families have been forced to flee their homes because of clashes between ISIS and the Taliban.

Some weapons, ammunition and explosives belonging to ISIS were destroyed in the attack, provincial police said in a statement.
