MAIDAN WARDAK -- Afghan forces killed at least seven Taliban militants in Maidan Wardak Province, Khaama Press reported Thursday (October 26), citing local officials.
Fighting took place in Deh Afghanan village and the Qala-e-Ziarat area, said the officials.
The dead militants included a Taliban commander, Qari Noor Aqa, said provincial police. They described him as the group's Maidan Wardak military commission chief.
