HERAT -- A member of Herat's provincial council was killed by unknown gunmen Tuesday (November 7) in Herat city, TOLOnews reported.
Mohammad Fazel Afif Jamshedi was going home when the assassins opened fire, said Jilani Farhad, the provincial governor’s spokesman.
One of Jamshedi's bodyguards was killed, added Farhad.
