KABUL -- Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has condemned the killing of a Pakistani diplomat in Nangarhar Province and ordered an investigation, the Afghan presidential press office said in a statement Wednesday (November 8).
Pakistani consulate worker Rana Nayyar Iqbal, 52, was killed by unidentified gunmen Monday (November 6) in Jalalabad, the provincial capital. He was buried in Islamabad Tuesday (November 7).
Ghani ordered security agencies to bring the perpetrators to justice, said the statement.
