KABUL -- Afghanistan's National Directorate of Security (NDS) says its operatives foiled a potential bombing Tuesday (November 14) in Kabul, TOLOnews reported Wednesday (November 15).
Security forces found a cart loaded with two gas cylinders, explosives and an improvised explosive device (IED). A total of 54kg of explosives was found, said an NDS statement.
Terrorists planned to set off the explosives in a residential part of Kabul, said the statement. It provided no further details.
