Salaam Times

KUNAR -- Dozens of families have been forced to leave their homes after Pakistan fired more than 500 rockets towards Kunar Province over the past four days, TOLOnews reported Wednesday (November 15), citing local officials.

"Rockets have landed in residential areas and have claimed one life," Kunar Governor Wahidullah Kamilzai said. "People have suffered financial losses. At least 40 families have been displaced in Shultan [District]."

Kalimzai said he was waiting for orders on how to respond from the government in Kabul.

At least 1,500 missiles were fired on Kunar Province from Pakistan in September, according to official information.
