LOGAR -- Afghan forces have killed eight Taliban fighters, including a key militant commander, in Logar Province, Khaama Press reported Tuesday (November 21).
The military operation took place in an area located between Baraki Barak District and Tangi Wardak, the provincial government media office said in a statement.
The dead included a Taliban commander, Agha Gul. Authorities identified him as a key Taliban leader who had been active in the area.
The Taliban had no comment.
