Air strike kills at least 8 foreign fighters in Nangarhar

NANGARHAR -- A coalition air strike Wednesday (November 29) in Nangarhar Province has killed at least eight foreign militants, Khaama Press reported Thursday (November 30), citing local officials.

The air strike occurred in Achin District, according to officials from the Afghan National Army.

No further details on the identity of the dead were given.

Separately, an air strike Thursday (November 30) hit a Haqqani Network (HN) compound in Kurram Agency, Pakistan.

The compound belonged to the compound of Rashid, an HN commander, according to local media. Three people were reported killed.

No militant groups have commented on the incidents.
