JALALABAD -- At least six Afghans were killed and 13 others wounded Sunday (December 3) after a suicide bomber drove a motorcycle into a political rally in Jalalabad, according to police.
The crowd had gathered in a stadium for a rally to support President Ashraf Ghani, said Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, police spokesman for Nangarhar Province.
"Six people including a woman and a child have been killed," he told AFP by phone.
Nobody immediately claimed responsibility.
Last month, a suicide attack claimed by "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) militants hit a political gathering in Kabul, killing 14 people.
