KUNDUZ -- At least 76 Taliban militants have been killed during a five-day military operation by the Afghan National Army Commando Corps in Kunduz Province, TOLOnews reported Monday (December 11).
The military operations took place in Imam Sahib District, said Jawed Salim, a spokesman for the commando forces.
"An officer was killed ... and two commandos were wounded," he said.
The operation, which was aimed at clearing out militants from the area, ended Monday.
The Taliban had no comment.
