NANGARHAR -- Afghan security forces have killed at least three "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) fighters and wounded seven others in Nangarhar Province, Khaama Press reported Thursday (December 14).
The operation took place near Khogyani District, the provincial government media office said in a statement. Troops have cleared several villages in the area of ISIS militants and operations are continuing, it added.
Security forces confiscated six improvised explosive devices (IEDs), said the statement.
