NANGARHAR -- Afghan forces have killed at least five members of the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) during ongoing operations in Nangarhar Province, Khaama Press reported Wednesday (December 20).
The operations occurred in a 24-hour span in Khogyani District, the provincial government media office said in a statement.
The dead included a shadow judge, said the statement.
Afghan security forces are carrying out operations Silab-4 and Silab-9 to wipe out the terror group in Nangarhar Province, according to the statement.
