KABUL -- Afghanistan and India formally inaugurated their second air cargo route, between Kabul and Mumbai, Wednesday (December 27), according to TOLOnews. It is expected to boost the export of fruits and medicinal plants by Afghanistan, said officials.
An air cargo route between Kabul and New Delhi began operation last June.
Khan Jan Alokozay, deputy chairman of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries, praised both governments for facilitating the second route.
