Afghan air strikes kill 5 Taliban militants in Faryab

FARYAB -- Afghan air strikes have killed at least five Taliban militants in Faryab Province, Khaama Press reported Thursday (January 4).

The latest air strikes hit Taliban hideouts in Pashtun Kot District, said the 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan National Army in a statement.

The Taliban had no immediate comment.
