Intelligence operatives arrest suspect in Herat explosion

HERAT -- Operatives from Afghanistan's National Directorate of Security (NDS) arrested the main suspect linked to a deadly explosion last week in Herat Province, Khaama Press reported Thursday (January 11).

The blast on January 6 in Jabraeel killed at least four people and wounded 11 others.

The suspect was arrested during an operation conducted by NDS personnel in Herat city, local officials said Wednesday (January 10).
