NANGARHAR -- Afghan security forces have thwarted a possible terrorist plot in Jalalabad city, say officials.
A Taliban suspect identified as Asrarullah was arrested by intelligence operatives while trying to transport heavy weapons to Nangarhar Province's capital for a possible attack, said the provincial governor's office on Facebook Thursday (January 25).
The suspect confessed to his crimes, the statement said.
