NANGARHAR -- Coalition air strikes in Nangarhar Province have killed at least three members of the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS), Khaama Press reported Thursday (February 8).
The air strikes were carried out in the Dowa Kholi area of Nazian and Gorgori area of Deha Bala District Tuesday (February 6), said officials at the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan National Army.
Another militant was reported wounded.
Separately, an ISIS member was killed and another wounded after a clash broke out between the ISIS fighters and Afghan forces during an operation in the Kandi Bagha area of Chaparhar District, the Silab Corps said.
