NANGARHAR -- Afghan forces killed at least eleven members of the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) in Nangarhar Province, Khaama Press reported Friday (February 9).
Two local leaders of the terrorist group were among those killed, said the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan National Army.
The operations were jointly conducted by local and national police forces and the Afghan army in Deh Bala District, the corps said.
