Afghan air strikes hit Taliban hideouts in Kunduz

KUNDUZ -- The Afghan air force has carried out a series of air strikes on Taliban hideouts in Kunduz Province, said the 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan National Army Wednesday (February 14).

The air strikes took place in the past 24 hours with the help of MD-530 helicopters in Qala-e-Zal District, the statement said.

One militants was killed and two were wounded, said the corps.

The strikes also destroyed a vehicle and two motorcycles, according to the statement.
