JAWZJAN -- The Afghan air force killed at least 10 "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) terrorists in air strikes in Jawzjan Province, the 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Wednesday (April 4).
The air strikes occurred in the Qazal Qeshlaq, Darya Khana and Pesta Bazar areas of Darzab District, the statement said.
The strikes came after ISIS militants attacked security posts in Darzab District late Monday (April 2), local officials said Tuesday (April 3).
