NDS arrests suspected Gardez would-be suicide bomber

KABUL -- National Directorate of Security (NDS) operatives arrested a potential Haqqani Network suicide bomber in Gardez, Paktia Province, Pajhwok Afghan News reported Thursday (April 5).

NDS personnel arrested the suspect, whom the NDS identified as Reza Khan alias Wafardar, during a special operation, the intelligence agency said in a statement.

The suspect confessed to planning a suicide attack in Gardez, according to the statement.
