Security forces thwart roundabout bombing in Kabul

KABUL -- Security forces foiled a potential bombing in Kabul city, Khaama Press reported Friday (June 1).

Police discovered and defused an improvised explosive device placed at a roundabout in the 12th police district, said officials.

Authorities did not provide any additional information.
