KUNAR -- Coalition air strikes Wednesday (June 6) in Kunar Province killed at least two "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) militants, the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement.
The strikes took place in the Plaar Dara area of Sawki District, said the statement.
No civilians were harmed, it added.
President Ashraf Ghani Thursday (June 7) vowed continued military pressure on ISIS and other international terrorist networks when he announced a week-long unilateral cease-fire with the Taliban starting June 12.
