NANGARHAR -- A roadside bomb Thursday (July 5) killed a Taliban commander and two of his fighters in Nangarhar Province, according to a statement from the provincial government media office.
The incident took place at about 9am in Khogyani District, the statement said.
Officials identified the militant commander as Hakimullah.
Four other civilians in the area were wounded, the statement added.
