Government to probe civilian casualties in Kunduz

KUNDUZ -- Afghan authorities opened an investigation into reports that 14 civilians were killed or wounded during a military operation in Kunduz Province, the Defence Ministry said in a statement Friday (July 20).

"A high-ranking military and government delegation has been appointed to closely investigate the incident," the statement said.
