HELMAND -- A mortar attack in Helmand Province killed at least six members of a single family, Khaama Press reported Monday (September 10).
The incident took place Sunday (September 9) at about 9pm in Gereshk District, said Omar Zwak, spokesperson for the provincial governor.
The attack also wounded six other members of the same family, he said.
No group has claimed responsibility yet.
