LAGHMAN -- Afghan security forces discovered and seized a ton of explosives in Mehtarlam City, the capital of Laghman Province, the Interior Ministry said in a statement Tuesday (October 16).
Police seized 1,000 kg of explosives from a house during a special operation in Baba Sahib area of capital Mehtarlam, said the statement.
Officials did not say when the operation was conducted.
At least four suspects were arrested by the security forces, according to the statement.
