MAZAR-E-SHARIF -- A Taliban infighting incident left one commander of the group dead and another wounded in Sar-e-Pul Province, the 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Tuesday (November 13).
The shooting took place Monday (November 12) at about 2pm in the Neemdan area of the provincial capital, said the statement.
Officials identified the Taliban commander as Saifuddin, also known as Saadat.
The Taliban did not immediately comment.
