MAZAR-E-SHARIF -- Afghan forces killed at least 18 Taliban militants in air and ground operations in Qaisar District, Faryab Province, the 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Tuesday (November 13).
The operations were conducted in Arklik village, said the statement, without providing details on the timing.
A local Taliban commander known as Mullah Khaal Mirza was killed, with at least 14 militants wounded, said the statement.
