LAGHMAN -- Afghan forces killed at least 51 members of "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) during a week-long operation in Nangarhar Province, the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Tuesday (November 20).
Afghan commandos participated in the operations, which took place from November 14-19 in Deh Bala District, said the statement.
Security forces targeted ISIS hideouts and destroyed the group's weapons and munition caches, officials said.
