WASHINGTON -- A US soldier has died as a result of last week's roadside bomb attack in Ghazni city, Ghazni Province, the Pentagon said Monday (December 3), AFP reported.
Sgt. Jason McClary, 24, from Pennsylvania died Sunday (December 2) after being treated in a US military hospital in Germany, the Pentagon statement said.
The November 27 attack saw an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated near Ghazni city. McClary was the fourth US soldier to die from the bombing.
McClary's death takes the number of US military personnel killed in Afghanistan this year to 13.
