Afghan operation kills at least 6 Taliban militants in Kunduz

MAZAR-E-SHARIF -- Afghan forces killed at least six Taliban militants during an operation on the outskirts of Kunduz city, Kunduz Province, the 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Tuesday (December 4).

The operation, Tofaan 21, which occurred early Monday morning (December 3), wounded three Taliban militants, said the statement.

Troops destroyed six BM-1-type rockets during the operation.
